No VAT is currently charged on fees

Talk Legal Limited is not presently registered for VAT, so the figures shown are the full amount payable — no VAT is added.

A dispute already underway is accepted

An employer can join with an ACAS matter or workplace problem already running. Membership covers workplace advice, individual case letters and ACAS assistance regardless of when the dispute began. Tribunal work is separate, and the 20% member discount applies to every stage of it.

Separately charged tribunal stages — member rates

The standard fee is struck through and the 20% member rate shown. Each stage is priced in writing before any work starts, and work included in the monthly membership is never charged again here.

How the tribunal work is handled

How we do things differently

  • No five-year agreement. There is no minimum term and no notice period. Cancel future payments at any time and the support ends with the paid period. The documents prepared for you remain yours.
  • We do charge for the opening documentation. The contracts and handbook review is a single, separately shown setup fee — £595 to £1,495, or 20% less for IFA members — not a cost buried inside a long contract.
  • Advice and letters from the same specialist who did the setup work, during business hours, Monday to Friday. Individual case letters are drafted as part of the monthly fee.
  • Tribunal work is bought stage by stage, at 20% off each standard stage fee. It is not bundled into the subscription and it is not sold as award insurance.

What is not included is stated plainly: health and safety support, tribunal award insurance and HR software. The provider comparison is kept in one place — on the public employer membership page, with the standard fees and the dates the figures were checked.
